Welcome to my storytelling spot on the interwebs.
Everyone calls me Chelsea, good friends call me Chels, my best friend calls me Chuck (don’t ask).
I love, support, and respect my husband as his wife.
I design and communicate for a living.
I enjoy capturing moments with my camera and sending handwritten cards.
I was born and raised in the South.
I listen to friends, family, and podcasts.
I read a lot and like to write.
I love adventures and a good road trip.
These are things I do.
Who I am is a follower and lover of the Trinity. God is Creator and Father, Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior, Holy Spirit is Counselor and Companion. I pray He takes my imperfect life and make much of Him.
Living by faith in God and not by my own sight is the most challenging and the important thing I do.
This blog exists to connect with others through real-life stories — stories of marriage, creating, homemaking, eating, treasure-hunting in the Bible, deep-rooted freedom, and cultivating friendship. It’s a fun, creative, sanity-maintaining, faith-processing outlet for me.
Simply, I hope this blog leaves us comforted that we aren’t alone, refreshed, and inspired to desire more of God.
It isn’t my job, but my own personal extension of 1 Peter 2:9-10, “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.”
One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts. On the glorious splendor of your majesty, and on your wondrous works, I will meditate. They shall speak of the might of your awesome deeds, and I will declare your greatness. They shall pour forth the fame of your abundant goodness and shall sing aloud of your righteousness. Psalm 145:4-7
