If you’re Facebook fan, you’ve probably noticed that I share A LOT of beautiful, animal craft images from Red Ted Art. Maggy Woodley is the brilliant women behind everything arty for kids and she’s just released her very own book. There’s over 60 easy crafts inside and many of them are animal related (as per the cute cover!)
In fact, I get to show you how to make her chick craft. See below for your FREE excerpt from her book Red Ted Art – Cute and Easy Crafts for Kids.
I love when crafts are so easy that you can put your own spin on it and also substitute materials that you already have at home. My children were very excited to make this craft today.

It makes you want to get crafty doesn’t it?! They are just too cute.
We’ve blown eggs before, you can see how we did it here. Using tissue paper around the egg was a great idea because when we added glue it molded to the eggs perfectly.
Here’s the chicks my girls made (with some help from me). As you can see, they wanted to be more specific with their chicks. Miss Poss made the rainbow lorikeet, Miss Panda an owl and Miss Platypus a sulfur-crested cockatoo.
The girls played with them all afternoon and we haven’t cracked an egg… yet!
This is not a sponsored post. It was my choice to highlight this book for free because I adore Red Ted Art!
