Tree printable: learning numbers with natural materials

Do your preschoolers love to play school at the moment? Mine do and I’m jumping on their enthusiasm for learning.  This simple tree printable encourages the use of natural materials that will engage your child, yet teach them some important number foundations before they get to school.

This tree printable should be used with a variety of natural items from nature. It’s a fun resource to get children counting, estimating and understanding math language like ‘if we add’, ‘if we take one away’, ‘how many are there?”

Children will enjoy the variety of natural materials they can put on the tree and will love counting them as they are placed on the leaves.

I love simple activities like this that provide good quality, engaging and educational fun for my children and this tree printable was something they loved interacting with.
