Do your preschoolers love to play school at the moment? Mine do and I’m jumping on their enthusiasm for learning. This simple tree printable encourages the use of natural materials that will engage your child, yet teach them some important number foundations before they get to school.
This tree printable should be used with a variety of natural items from nature. It’s a fun resource to get children counting, estimating and understanding math language like ‘if we add’, ‘if we take one away’, ‘how many are there?”
Children will enjoy the variety of natural materials they can put on the tree and will love counting them as they are placed on the leaves.

* Please don’t laminate this printable. Instead, stick the printable to a piece of cardboard. It works just as well and lasts as long as you’ll probably need it. I’ve mentioned why I don’t like laminating in this post.
